MP7 is a fully offline encrypted media player. All processing happens entirely on your device — your files, passwords, and encryption keys are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.
Media Data: All playback, encryption, and decryption happens locally on your device. MP7 does not collect, store, upload, or share your audio, video, or any file content.
No Advertising: MP7 contains no advertising SDKs and shows no ads. It is a paid app with no in-app purchases.
No Network Access: MP7 has no network functionality. It does not send any data to any server.
No Data Collection: MP7 contains no analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services of any kind.
Permissions: MP7 requests no sensitive permissions (no storage, location, contacts, camera, or microphone). File access is granted per-file by you through Android’s Storage Access Framework (SAF).
Encryption & Storage: Your media, passwords, and keys are stored only on your device, protected by Argon2 password hashing and local encryption. We cannot access them, and they never leave your device. System backup is disabled to prevent keys and encrypted files from syncing to the cloud.
Children: MP7 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your Rights / Data Deletion: All data stays on your device. Uninstalling MP7 removes all local data it created.
Third-Party Services: MP7 integrates no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.
